How the system works.

Photovoltaic Modules are fitted on to your roof. These modules will convert light in to a DC current. This current is then passed through inverter, usually fitted in the loft or attic space. The inverter converts the electricity to a useful AC current which can be used by the consumer, or fed back in to the power grid if not required. The system has a long life expectancy and payments are guaranteed for 25 years, allowing you to easily work out your potential income.

Your energy producing income is calculated in kWh/Annum. We can calculate your expected energy output using SAP2005 Government figures as well as simulated data climate software. The government has announced a new proposed feed in tariff scheme for anyone who generates electricity under the Low Carbon Buildings Program.

Under this scheme, a typical photovoltaic system could earn you around £1000.00 per annum, guaranteed for 25 years. (System size 2,500 kWh/annum, where 1,500 kWh/a is used and 1000kWh/a is exported. Under the proposed scheme you will be paid 41.3p for every kWh you generate and a further 3p for every kWh you export.
